We use our own cookie and analytics tools to understand how people find and use Calorize. If you came from a Google ad, we tell Google when you sign up or buy, to measure that ad. There are no ads inside the app. Your choice is remembered for a year.
The plan is the same, but the number on screen is different. That is not a mistake and not a different feature set: Premium and Max give you exactly the same features no matter where you paid. What differs is how much of your payment the middleman takes.
Where the difference comes from
When you subscribe inside the app — on iPhone through the App Store, or on Android through Google Play — the payment goes through the app store. Apple and Google take their commission on every transaction, and that commission is noticeably higher than a bank's. To end up with the same amount after their cut, the in-store price has to be higher.
When you subscribe on the website via Monobank, the payment goes straight to our account. That is ordinary bank acquiring — the fee is several times smaller, so the price can be lower.
There are two more reasons the amounts don't line up exactly:
- Currency. In the stores the price is tied to Apple's and Google's own pricing tiers, converted at their own rate and not updated daily. Web payments are in hryvnia.
- Taxes. The stores add local taxes for your country, so what you see is already the final amount.
You can always compare the current price for each option on the Pricing page.
What we recommend
Install the app from the App Store or Google Play. The native version is faster and more stable, syncs properly with Apple Health and Google Fit, sends push reminders, and works with your watch and camera in ways a browser simply cannot.
But subscribe through the web version via Monobank. It is the same account and the same subscription — just a cheaper way to pay.
So the best combination is: use the app from the store, pay through the website.
How to subscribe on the web
- Open calorize.ai in a browser and sign in to the same account you use in the app.
- Go to the Pricing page.
- Choose your plan and billing period, and pay by card via Monobank.
- Go back to the app — the subscription is already active.
The subscription belongs to your account, not to a device. Pay in the browser and Premium or Max works right away on iPhone, on Android, and on the website.
Good to know
- Don't pay twice. If you already have an active App Store or Google Play subscription, first turn off auto-renewal there and wait until the paid period ends — otherwise both charges will run in parallel.
- Cancel where you paid. An App Store subscription is cancelled in iPhone Settings, a Google Play one in Google Play, and a web one in your profile. See Cancel subscription for details.
- We don't fully control store prices. Apple and Google convert the amount into your currency themselves, so it can change without any action on our side.
If something doesn't add up — the amount, the plan, or your subscription status — write to us via Feedback, and we'll sort it out.
